MightyMeals Holiday Food Drive: Help Us Give Back to the DC Community
The holiday season is a time for giving, and this year, MightyMeals is excited to team up with Hearts of Empowerment to support Martha’s Table, a beloved Washington, DC-based nonprofit that has been empowering local families and communities since 1980. Our goal is to donate 1,000 cans to Martha’s Table, and we’re inviting you, our MightyMeals family, to join us in making this possible!
How It Works:
From November 20th to 24th, MightyMeals customers will have the opportunity to participate in this meaningful food drive. Simply leave your non-perishable donations out with your regular meal delivery, and our delivery team will pick them up during our scheduled delivery days: Wednesday (11/20), Thursday (11/21), Saturday (11/23), or Sunday (11/24). All donations will be delivered to Martha’s Table on November 26th, where they will be used to support families across the District of Columbia.
What You Can Donate:
We’re accepting non-perishable food donations, and we encourage you to check out Martha’s Table’s Donation Guidelines to ensure your donations meet their needs. Please make sure the items are unexpired and in good condition.

- Saturday, November 23rd
- Sunday, November 24th
We’ll pick up your donations on any of these days during your regular meal delivery.

Martha’s Table’s Markets provides a no-cost, farmers market-style shopping experience, ensuring families have convenient access to fresh produce and pantry staples. Our markets operate Monday through Friday at both our SE and NW locations, offering a dignified, supportive environment for guests. This service is a key part of our broader food access initiatives, which distributed over 1.8 million meals last year to individuals and families facing food insecurity. By offering nutritious food in a welcoming, empowering space, we are committed to addressing immediate needs while promoting long-term well-being for our community.
