Hi there – my name is Krista and I run the website and Instagram account: Sweat-Smarter.com. Sweat Smarter is all about helping people to find new and fun ways to live a healthy, active lifestyle without breaking the bank.
Right now, on top of my 9-5 job and running Sweat Smarter, I’m in the final stretch of wedding planning with my fiancé Caleb. We’re both focused on healthy eating, but weekend meal prep has been hard to fit into our schedule.
Enter, MightyMeals. Each week we quickly select our lunch and dinner meals for the week and pick them up at our local Pacers store on Sunday. The ability to have these meals pre-planned (and pre-made!) has taken the guesswork out of dinner prep each night. After a day full of making decisions at work and answering questions of wedding vendors at night, having one less decision for us to make is the ultimate luxury and stress relief!
On top of the convenience of MightyMeals, the meals themselves taste great. We’ve loved the variety of meal options that MightyMeals offers and the ability to easily use their filters to find the dishes that fit our health goals AND cravings. Since we both work out a lot (group fitness for me and running for Caleb), having high-protein meals has been important for both of us and all our favorite options offer that.
My two favorite dishes are the Salmon Zoodle Puttanesca (which inspired us to put a zoodle-maker on our wedding registry!) and the Shredded Buffalo Chicken, which are both under 500 calories! Caleb, despite being a semi-picky eater, had no trouble choosing favorite dishes and loves ordering the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken and Basics each week.
Using MightyMeals in the final weeks of wedding prep has been such a great decision for us. Not only is it keeping us eating healthy as the big day approaches, but it has also been a giant stress reducer, giving us more time to focus on each other and all the exciting things to come.
Whether you’re wedding planning or not, I definitely recommend trying out MightyMeals to incorporate more healthy eating and reducing stress in your life. We’re definitely going to use it again as no-brainer meal prep during busy seasons at work, coming back from a trip, or the week that we move to our new home!
Because I’m your go-to girl for all the promo codes, you can use code SweatSmarter to get one free MightyMeals item on your next order. And, be sure to follow @sweat_smarter for more healthy living tips and future wedding pics!
